Join the Emerging Professionals of Portland (EPOP) for a professional development happy hour. 

This month we will be joined by Mark Mohammadpour.  

Mark is the Owner and Chief Wellness Officer at Chasing the Sun. After spending his public relations career as an executive at Edelman and Weber Shandwick, and after losing and keeping 150 pounds over the last decade, Mark launched Chasing the Sun to empower people to prioritize their well-being so they can shine in the family room and the board room. Mark's programs deliver relatable, practical, and actionable advice to help increase morale and reduce turnover.  Following this session, participants will learn:

  • Insights based on survey results from peers on their experiences with health and the workplace.
  • How to apply traditional business planning techniques for creating fitness and wellness goals that work for anyone and set themselves and their teams up for success.
  • Practical health, wellness, and fitness tips tailored to emerging leaders.
  • How to create a personal 2022 fool-proof wellness accountability plan on a page.

We will gather in the Fireside Room at Steeplejack Brewing.  

Emerging Professionals of Portland (EPOP) is a program that offers emerging professionals a place to prosper and develop their careers, build a peer network and gain exposure to business leaders. EPOP offers programming focused on educational and professional development, as well as civic engagement and networking opportunities.
