Join us for a civil dialogue on the pressing issue of gun violence in Portland. 

This forum aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the challenges our city faces, progress made, and additional proposed solutions.


Chief Day of the Portland Police Bureau will provide an overview of his plan for the bureau in the year ahead and that will be followed by a panel discussion featuring:


  • Asianique Savage, Metro Gun Violence Prevention Program Manager, Oregon Alliance For Gun Safety
  • Joe McFerrin II, President & CEO, Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center
  • Lt. Duilio, Portland Police Bureau
  • Dr. Kathleen Carlson, Director, OHSU Gun Violence Prevention Research Center
  • Moderated by Ken Boddie, KOIN
